The Trailer

"Diffusion, Ions, Electricity" is the first learning module in the series "How Water Thinks." It explores how ions are transmitted across the biological cell membrane. This understanding is prerequisite to understanding how nerve impulses are transmitted along neurons, or nerve cells, which, of course, is necessary to understand how we think and feel.

This module is designed for college-level biology students who may be encountering the topic for the first time. It attempts to get way  beyond a textbook description by actually visualizing how the ions and membranes behave.

Download the free game for Windows. Place the zipped file in a folder or on your desktop. Unzip the file. Click on the file HWT3 (That stands for "How Water Thinks, Module 3" if you are curious.) Hit "PLAY." Enjoy.
