Harvey Lloyd & Ivana Lovincic
Secrets of Eternal Youth is a Kerouacian road trip through the mental universe with a merry prankster at the wheel. Lloyd is Coyote, the Trickster, who brings us the fire of imagination that is able to see the quantum foam of the universe in the dancing of Jackson Pollack—that allows us to feel the wild excitement of being alive. Secrets is an explosion of metaphor that reprograms our synapses, stretches our minds, and reminds us that we are all youthful poets.

. . . Tis not too late to seek a newer world . . . for my purpose holds/To sail beyond the sunset, and the baths/Of all the western stars, until I die . . .
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

A friend said I was a “Badass” character. That’s a compliment and to hell
and hellfire with anyone who doesn’t think so. I damn well will not bore you good fellas and gals with another worthless “how to book” full of dumb ideas on how to stay young. That’s for idiots and lazy couch potatoes and we can do a helluva lot better.
I am a mad youthful forever rebel and spiritual warrior, a damn good loyal friend, a samurai, a shaman, a poet and a world roving Ulysses character whose star filled Odyssey lights the night. I never fought together with noble Achilles on the bloody fields of Troy, plucked the eye from Neptune’s giant son, the one-eyed Cyclops, or slept with the beautiful enchantress Circe on her rocky isle. Would’ve been fun!
CIRCE AT CONEY ISLAND MERMAID DAY
I’m kin to Odysseus, “the castle wrecker,” whose tempest ridden voyages,
myths, monsters and enchantress filled adventures were his Ithaca, his only true home. We live where we love and the entire world is the doorway to perceptions of the mystery of creation.
My global sea and jet air voyages, hanging out of helicopters and flying “the Dead Man’s Curve,” around the world have been my spine chilling, wildly dangerous, adrenalin filled, glorious, challenging and eternally enticing home, Gaia, the earth mother’s savage and beautiful domain.

Danger? It goes with the territory! Love it or leave it, to be captain of your own ship or aircraft is the spice of life. To risk life and fortune is the way of the spiritual warrior, the way of the artist, eternal youth or anyone who will battle the devil’s hosts to stay forever young and strong.
Youth is a state of mind. I will tell you the skinny and leave out the b. s.
–TENNYSON (from Ulysses)
Eternal youths, guys and gals, Listen to your hearts, fail and fail a hundred times , rise again like the phoenix, and don’t let any smart ass or any didactic wise guy rules get in the way. Your fearless bold heart is the only guide, to hell with the naysayers, the timid hosts of those who fear to risk all.
Aim for the stars and fly high above the rest. That’s the raptor, albatross or crane’s way to live long and strong.
Dammit friends, listen, I live it, have lived it, love it, will live it forever, and you gang members of my Viking clan can live it fearlessly and find joy at the Viking berserker’s battle for freedom!
Together we soar like a flock of giant pterodactyls from our own age of enlightenment, winging our way over the lands and seas. We are the boldest audacious band of brothers and sisters, and nothing on this green earth can or will prevent us. We will not merely survive like prophets or kings, we will prevail! The world is ours!
Fearlessness is the first requisite of spirituality. Cowards can never be moral.
